Senior Computer Instructor 2026 Vacancy Rajasthan

RSSB SCI recruitment 2026 — eligibility, exam pattern and 16-subject Paper II prep.

The Senior Computer Instructor 2026 Vacancy Rajasthan announced by RSSB targets senior-grade computer-teacher posts across higher secondary government schools. Also known as the Senior Computer Teacher 2026 Vacancy Rajasthan, the SCI exam tests substantially deeper technical depth than its BCI counterpart — 16 Paper II subjects against BCI's 12, and a higher difficulty band on algorithms, OS internals, computer architecture and cryptography. This page captures the official vacancy snapshot, eligibility, exam pattern and how MeritPrep maps to the SCI Paper II syllabus.

Senior Computer Instructor 2026 — vacancy snapshot

RSSB releases the exact post count, category-wise reservation and district allocation in its official SCI notification at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The pay matrix for the SCI grade sits one level above BCI — aspirants from BCA / MCA / B.Tech (CS) / M.Sc. (CS) backgrounds typically targeting senior school teaching positions choose SCI for the depth-and-pay combination.

If you are still deciding which exam to write, see our companion page on the Basic Computer Instructor 2026 Vacancy Rajasthan with its 3,951-post pool. Many aspirants prep for both with the upgrade path priced at ₹500 on MeritPrep.

SCI Paper II depth — 16 subjects vs BCI's 12

The headline difference between the two exams is the Paper II subject list. BCI bundles "Computer Organization and Operating System" into a single combined subject; SCI splits them into two standalone subjects, adds a dedicated Algorithms paper, separates Digital Logic Systems, and introduces Basics of Communication (signals, modulation, antennas). Cryptography in SCI Network Security goes deeper into RSA, AES, hashing and digital signatures than the BCI version.

Question patterns reflect this: where BCI asks "What does FIFO stand for?" SCI Paper II asks you to trace an external sort with N = 106 blocks and M = 100 buffer pages and count the merge passes. Same microtopic name, very different difficulty calibration. Prep at SCI depth is the only way through — recall-level prep will leave you 15–20 marks short on Paper II.
