Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident about your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when you can request a refund, how to do it, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Our approach

MeritPrep sells access to digital learning content (lessons, MCQs, flashcards, mock tests). Because this content is delivered immediately and consumed digitally, we apply a clear, time-bound refund window rather than open-ended refunds. We aim to be fair: if the platform genuinely does not work for you and you have not used a significant portion of the paid content, we will refund you.

2. Refund window — 7 days

You may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase, provided you have used less than 20% of the paid content for which you are requesting a refund.

"Used" means: lessons opened and read, MCQs attempted, flashcards reviewed, or mock tests started. Usage is measured against the total paid content available to you under the plan.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, through Razorpay. We are unable to refund to a different account, card, or UPI ID.

8. Effect of refund

Once a refund is approved, access to the paid content will be revoked. If you have downloaded any content for offline use, you must delete it. Your free-tier access to MeritPrep will remain unaffected.

9. Disputes and chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us at help@meritprep.in first. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us may delay resolution and, where the chargeback is found to be unjustified, may result in account suspension.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice on the Service.
